At the onset of the program, all participants gave their introduction to HE Ambassador. After that, NIS president Mr. Deepesh Man Shakya presented an overview of NIS and INCC past and future events.

Speaking at the event, HE Ambassador expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards Nepal Ireland Society and Ireland-Nepal chamber of commerce committee members and other distinguished officials from Irish Development projects in Nepal, representatives from NRNA-Ireland and true Irish friends of Nepal, climbers and mountaineers for organizing such a grand event to welcome and wish him a successful tenure. He said he's always there to listen, understand and implement the ideas that are for the continuous progress of the mutual corporation between the two countries. He stated that he's overwhelmed to witness the changes and efforts done to enhance the links between Ireland and Nepal, through NIS and INCC.
