State Health Minister
hands over Cash Prize and Certificates
to
the Brave Nepalese Policemen,
sponsored and organized
by Nepal Ireland Society
Nepal Ireland Society, in its effort to encourage the
selfless and brave people of our country, honored the four brave policemen
who dived into highly polluted bagmati river in an effort to
save a young girl who drowned in the river.
The program was held in Reporter's Club, Putali Sadak,
Kathmandu. State Health Minister Mrs. Sashi Shrestha handed over the
certificate and the cash prizes
to the policemen. Out of four policemen, only two were
present in the program as the rest two were out of Kathmandu in election
duty.
The cash prize and the certificates for the absent
policemen were handed over to the two other policemen.
The family of the deceased little girl has been contacted.
Financial help worth Rs. 10,000 will be handed to them in next few days.
