variety of telephone cards from which you can make
international calls at cheaper rate. At current, 'Top
minutes' and 'First connect' are the best telephone cards
available for Nepal . 'Top minutes' gives 112 minutes for
Kathmandu and for out of Kathmandu it gives 56 minutes for
Euro 10 where as 'First connect' gives 54 minutes for
out of Kathmandu and 120 minutes to Kathmandu for Euro 9.
You can also ring Nepal using Telestunt (www.telestunt.ie)
access number: 153047500. If you use this number you will be
charged 33 euro cents per minute inclusive of all taxes, if
you use land line phone. If you use mobile you will be
charged 45 Euro cents per minute. If you would like to call
USA using Telestunt the access number is 1890943123. You
will be charged at local rate. If you have friends/family in
USA, talk as much as you like with local call charge rate.
You can also get 'Top Card' from Eircom. It is available at
post office. It will give you 39 minutes (Exact) for Euro 10
to all regions. Once you get registered you can top it up
via internet as well.
